Amongst the big lens wildlife stuff I've been mostly enjoying of late (when energy allows), my cunning 'little pocket camera' plan has paid off too. Whilst hiding in this dreamy looking woodland waiting for beasties I kept myself occupied grabbing some bluebell photos. I think this is probably my favourite. Some ducklings have started to appear recently. These ones were hunting midges as they flew above the water surface. They're surprisingly nimble despite being so small, darting around and jumping up to pluck them out of the air. I'm assuming this is
Some ducklings have started to appear recently. These ones were hunting midges as they flew above the water surface. They're surprisingly nimble despite being so small, darting around and jumping up to pluck them out of the air. I'm assuming this is all completely instinct driven rather than something they're taught to do. #ducklings #signsofspring #wildlifephotography #ukwildlifeimages #uknature #wildbritain #wildlife_perfection #ducks #your_nature #your_wildlife #birdlover
