Whilst still convalescing from more surgery earlier this year, I’ve edited more photos of yesteryear. The theme of today’s post is that they’re all in flight. I’m sure other photographers have this experience, too, but on going through the old catalogues, I’d forgotten about several of these shots and like them more on this recent encounter than I did at the time.
The sequence below shows a coot bravely charging towards a heron that had just landed, whilst her chicks run around behind her in a panic.
